The Maplebeck Tree Care Team had an enjoyable day working in the rear garden of a period property in the picturesque village of Oxton, Nottinghamshire.
Our client wanted their neighbours magnificent mature Cedar tree selectively reduced because it was impending on their property.
The tree was situated in their neighbours property and had numerous branches trespassing, so we gained consent to reduce the encroaching branches back to a suitable points ensuring that the trees health would not be impaired as a consequence of our operations.
We acted as an agent for our client by submitting the Tree Work Application because the property was within a Conservation Area. Their Local Planning Authority Newark & Sherwood District Council (NSDC) approved the work specified in the application
The tree was in close proximity to a power cable so we raised an inquiry with Wester Power Distribution so they could send a technician out to assess the line and programme in a time slot and shroud the cable. We liaised with WPD at all times and completed the works safely and professionally.
The piece of plant in the image is called a Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP) we used this as a mechanical aid which enabled the work to be undertaken efficiently and most importantly safely.
